Assistant Principal's Message
Dear Skyhawk Families,
Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I am excited to introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal of Sunnydale Elementary School. It is a true honor to join this incredible school community, and I look forward to supporting our students, staff, and families in a year full of learning, growth, and success.
This school year marks the beginning of my 32nd year with the Lancaster School District- a district I am proud to call home. I have spent my entire career dedicated to serving the students and families of this community, first as a classroom teacher for 25 years (grades K–6), and then as an Instructional Coach for the past 6 years. These experiences have deepened my passion for education and strengthened my belief in the power of collaboration between schools and families.
At Sunnydale, we believe that a strong school community is built through the combined efforts of students, staff, and parents working together. When we collaborate and communicate openly, we create the best possible learning environment for our children. Your involvement, whether through volunteering, attending events, or simply staying connected with your child’s learning- makes a real difference.
Please know that my door is always open. I welcome your questions, ideas, and feedback as we work together to make this a fantastic school year for each and every student at Sunnydale.
